Katelyn Sinclair is a recent graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Sound and Art and Technology.
She produces documentary works primarily for radio. Her narrative pieces investigate human connections to the divine world, the natural world and the man made world, as well as the relationships that form and emerge between both the artist and those individuals interviewed or researched. The act of broadcasting is another equally important element of her practice, as it allows her to reach a wider audience through a relatively accessible medium.
Katelyn is currently working on a documentary for radio that explores the ever-evolving means of communication between deployed military service members and their families.
